Alpine Psychotherapy

Healing for PTSD/Trauma, Anxiety, Overwhelm, Perfectionism/People-Pleasing, Overcoming Shame and Guilt

Welcome! As a seasoned therapist of over 15 years, I provide advanced mind-body and trauma therapy for people who feel stuck despite insight, effort, or years of talk therapy. My work goes beyond symptom management to address trauma at the level of the nervous system and brain, where lasting change happens.

Approaches:

  • EMDR

  • parts work

  • inner child healing

  • somatic techniques

…to gently access and heal the root causes of distress. Therapy is collaborative, attuned, and paced to your system—helping you build internal safety while doing meaningful, transformative work.

This approach integrates nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and shame-informed care, supporting you in feeling more grounded, connected, and at home within yourself—not just in session, but in your everyday life.

Many of my clients are adults who struggle with people-pleasing, high-functioning anxiety, and self-criticism, often shaped by growing up with emotionally immature or unpredictable caregivers—or by other significant traumatic experiences in childhood.

Why Clients work with me:

Childhood Trauma

Sexual assault

Sports trauma

Anxiety/panic

Burnout/overwhelm in job or home

Perfectionism/People Pleasing

Difficulty asking for what you need or saying no

Weighed down by shame/guilt

You might be a good fit for my practice if you:

• Feel stuck despite insight, self-awareness, or years of therapy

• Understand why you feel the way you do, but your body still reacts as if you’re unsafe

• Experience anxiety, shutdown, overwhelm, or emotional reactivity that feels out of proportion to the present

• Are tired of coping and want to work at the root level

• Struggle with shame, self-criticism, or a sense that “something is wrong with me”
