My fee for a 50 minute session is $160.
I currently accept most Aetna, United, and Cigna Insurance plans through Alma.
A note on choosing to use insurance:
When you choose to use insurance, you are agreeing to allow insurance companies control over your treatment. They require solely the use of evidence-based modalities, and while this is best-practice and these modalities are regularly utilized in my practice, this is limiting, and it does not allow for the use of new, intuitive, or innovative interventions that may be useful to your healing.
Insurance companies require a diagnosis for every client that will remain in your chart permanently, and can be accessed by other insurance companies and government agencies.
Insurance will cover your treatment only if “medically necessary”. For example, if you are seeking general personal growth, or are looking for additional support while navigating life transitions.
Insurance companies can request your session progress notes at any time and I am required to provide them.
If your insurance changes, you will need to start over with another therapist who accepts your insurance.
